This past summer we were fortunate enough to do a summer wedding shoot with the talented @tristankallas. If you haven't seen his work, visit NOW: TristanKallas.com. His work is beautiful - crisp - clean - incredible. Stylist @_sarah_lindsay, model @shadyday and makeup @beautybymelina all pitched to help make these photos perfect.
The day started at 7:00am driving from San Diego to the LA Flower Market to meet @_sarah_lindsay to pick up our buy for 3 different concepts for the shoot. I wanted to relay three distinctly different looks that all brides could relate to. Once we were done at the market we went back to @_sarah_lindsay’s humble abode in West Hollywood to start arranging.
Creating the actual arrangements is such a stress reliever for me. I love being able to translate a creative idea into an actual bouquet. Creating the 3 bouquets and flower crowns was a blast. During our second of down time we called in our favorite Chinese delivery Wokcanos and completely over ate.
We sat and watched the amazing @beautybymelina transform @shadyday into a bride for the day. Pretty ironic..... @shadyday is on a plane currently en route to her real wedding in Hawaii!!! @_sarah_lindsay styled while @tristankallas got his equipment together and we were off.
Laurel Canyon is a long road running up a steep mountain that separates West Hollywood and the valley. It is full of winding roads and huge houses hanging over cliffs. @tristankallas took us to this breathtaking field overlooking the city for our location.
